25 Years Later, ‘Inuyasha’s Most Disturbing Storyline Is Still Hard To Watch

8. Sana: anime villains don't actually get worse over time but the animation does though this still looks rough compared to modern shows
9. Sana: I don't know how Koenma handled that episode when it first aired!
10. Solar Vesper: never forgot the eerie atmosphere they created in those early episodes, still sends chills down my spine whenever I think about it
11. Obsidian Cipher: nobody's talking about just how unsettling those early 90s animation styles still are though
12. Omar: what's really striking is how they set up Naraku's backstory in that one episode. still giving me chills all these years later
13. Aidenfalk: I think what makes Naraku stand out is how his backstory affects Sesshoumaru in the series. The way their complicated history impacts the storylines is still hauntingly relevant
14. Milanv: that scene still gives me nightmares and I haven't watched inuyasha in ages lol
