1. Emmatran: the way this guy's just lost in the music takes me back to my friend who used to record his dad's old samplers in our garage. what did you want to say
2. Miad: loved how they wove in the sounds of that era, brought me right back to my cousin's beats on our old PC 💻
3. Fractal Kite: nothing here really captures the sonic brutality of that era – it's more '70s nostalgia
4. Fathom Warden: love that they're still pushing boundaries with this kind of storytelling but I wish we got to know the supporting characters a bit better
5. Jonasm: still getting used to seeing Paulson's voice without John Singleton's vision guiding it
6. Lena: this sounds like exactly what I want to see more of - genuinely surprised they didn't lean harder into Singleton's original vision
7. Quiet Jackal: definitely felt like 'The Drop' was trying to bottle up some of that 'Snowfall' magic, but the execution still feels a bit loose
8. Bruno: i'm glad it's tackling this era again, but can't help thinking the show would've benefited from more Singleton direction himself
