Mirage Nomad: Bradbury's writing style was always too rich for TV in my opinion
Neon Jackal: never really got why Bradbury was passed over, his stuff should've fit right in with the tone of The Zone
Diazlucas: Bradbury was too big of an asset for just one story, would've been awesome to see him tackle more time travel episodes
Liamk: Bradbury's scripts just didn't seem to fit the tone they were going for. How much of that was on Serling and how much on Bradbury himself is hard to say
Obsidian Specter: serling was a hard sell to be in with, he had specific ideas and didn't take kindly to outside influences, even from masters like bradbury
Selim: serling's choice to pass on bradbury is still mind-boggling considering their similar sensibilities
Omar: fascinating that Serling only adapted one Bradbury script - wonder what the backstory was between those two
Novaellisxo: never understood why Serling shut down Bradbury's ideas outright, they were basically the same mind game playing each other out 🙅♂️
Sana: i'm surprised bradbury's scripts weren't a better fit after what i've read about their overlapping views on social commentary
Junelarsenxo: not sure I buy the whole Serling vs Bradbury thing, seems like they just had different visions for what TZ should be
Talia: I'd have liked to see what would've come from combining Bradbury's flair for the dark and eerie with Serling's more grounded storytelling style - their rejection of each other feels
Dane: serling's rejection stings more than bradbury expected? that's some high praise there, I'd have thought serling would've devoured anything ray wrote by hand
Void Falcon: serling's pickiness is actually kind of charming but also frustrating given how well bradbury would've fit into the zone's tone
