VOIDEX Apps: Web, Windows and Mac, with iPhone and Android Next

A private platform is only useful if it is there when you need it: at your desk, in your browser, in the middle of a game, in your own language. Privacy that lives on one device, in one language, is privacy most people will eventually leave behind for convenience.

This guide explains where VOIDEX runs, what each place is good for, how your encrypted history follows you to a new device, and which addresses are the real VOIDEX.

VOIDEX on the web

The simplest way into VOIDEX is the browser. VOIDEX works in any modern browser at voidex.com, with nothing to install. Sign in and the whole Voidverse is there: VOIDEX Messenger for private conversations and calls, VOIDEX Channels for communities, VOIDEX Space and VOIDEX Orbits for posts and short video, VOIDEX Market for collectibles, and VOIDEX Pulse for private search from Deep Space.

The web is ideal when you are on a borrowed machine for a moment, when you want to check something quickly, or when you simply prefer your browser to another app on your dock.

VOIDEX for Windows and Mac

For the people who live on their computers, VOIDEX runs as desktop apps for Windows and for Mac. A desktop app gives VOIDEX a home of its own: a window that is not one tab among forty, that you can keep open beside your work, and that is there when you come back to it.

It is the same VOIDEX as on the web. The same account, the same conversations, the same Face and Phantom in VOIDEX Space. What changes is that it feels like a place rather than a page.

The in-game overlay on Windows

The Windows app includes something built for players: an in-game overlay for chat and voice. Instead of leaving your game to answer a message or check who is talking, you bring VOIDEX up over the game, deal with it, and carry on.

It pairs naturally with VOIDEX Channels. A gaming channel can start with rooms for match planning, and its voice rooms give a team or a group of friends somewhere to talk live. One account, every screen

Whether you open VOIDEX in a browser tab, in the Windows app or in the Mac app, you are signing in to the same account. Your chats, your channels, your Face and your Phantom, your VOIDEX Points and your collection in VOIDEX Market are all there. Nothing has to be exported or copied between apps, because there is only one VOIDEX.

That includes the quieter parts of the Voidverse. VOIDEX Pulse, the private search of VOIDEX, opens from Deep Space in the same way on every screen, with searches reaching the web through VOIDEX so sites and search engines never see who is asking, and with your search history encrypted under a key that only your devices hold.

iPhone and Android: on the way

Apps for iPhone and Android are coming. We will announce them on voidex.com and on our official Instagram accounts, @voidexapp and @voidexgroup, when they are ready. Until then, the web at voidex.com is the way to reach VOIDEX from other devices.

We would rather say "coming" than promise a date we have not set. When there is news, it will appear in those official places and nowhere else.

Nine languages

VOIDEX is available in nine languages: English, Danish, Dutch, French, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish.

Language is part of privacy in a way that is easy to overlook. A security setting you cannot read is a setting you will not use. A warning written in someone else's language is a warning you will skip. Offering VOIDEX in the languages our members actually speak is part of making its protections real rather than theoretical.

Your encryption travels with you

Moving between devices is where many private messengers become awkward, because the keys that protect your messages are meant to stay on your devices. VOIDEX is no different in principle: keys are created on members' devices, and VOIDEX's servers store only public keys and ciphertext.

What makes moving possible is the VOIDEX recovery code. Each member holds a personal recovery code that opens their message history on a new device. VOIDEX never holds it, which is why VOIDEX cannot open anyone's history either, and it is also why a lost code cannot be restored by anyone. The encrypted history copy is deliberately not forward-secret, because that is what allows the code to open the past, and members can switch it off if they prefer.

Every new device is checked in public

Adding a device to your account adds a new device key, and VOIDEX handles that in the open. Every device key change is appended to a public, append-only key transparency log, with tree heads signed by Ed25519 and ML-DSA-65. Clients check keys against the log and refuse keys that are not in it, anyone can audit it through public endpoints, and an independent witness watches it. A device cannot be slipped into your conversations quietly. See key transparency for how it works.

The same protection everywhere

Whichever way you use VOIDEX, the protections are the same, because they belong to the platform rather than to any single app:

• Direct messages use a hybrid post-quantum key agreement, X25519 together with ML-KEM-768, followed by a double ratchet with post-quantum re-keying, so each message has its own key.
• Identity signatures are hybrid Ed25519 and ML-DSA-65.
• Groups and private channels use MLS, the IETF standard defined in RFC 9420.
• Calls use WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP, with the call setup sealed under the conversation key and relayed through VOIDEX's own relay.
• No ads, no third-party trackers or ad pixels, and no selling of data, on every screen.

The cryptographic core is open source, and the VOIDEX security report sets out what VOIDEX protects and how anyone can verify it.

The real VOIDEX addresses

A platform that takes privacy seriously should make it easy to tell the real thing from an imitation. The official home of VOIDEX is voidex.com. The official VOIDEX domains are voidex.com, voidex.us, voidex.uk, voidex.be, voidex.dk, voidex.es, voidex.fr, voidex.it, voidex.no, voidex.pl, voidex.se and voidexapp.com. They are all the same VOIDEX.

Any other website using the VOIDEX name is not operated by VOIDEX. If someone sends you a link that does not match one of these addresses, treat it with suspicion. The VOIDEX apps page lists the same domains, and the VOIDEX FAQ covers the essentials.

Choosing where to start

1. At your desk every day? Use the Windows or Mac desktop app and keep VOIDEX open beside your work.
2. A player? Use the Windows app and bring up the in-game overlay for chat and voice.

5. Anywhere new? Have your recovery code ready so your history comes with you.
